On about 840 hectares basically white and grey Burgundian and Müller-Thurgau are grown beside the classical Riesling at the Hessian and Baden Bergstrasse.
In the area of red wines, late Burgundian dominates the varietal. Of course, in addition, the bergstraesser winegrowers offer tinglings - from the traditional formentaion in the bottle up to secco. The paletted is completed with noble brandies.
For epicures the Berstrasse offers numerous events all about wine. The "Bergstraesser wine spring" and the "Bergstraesser wine autumn" invite to get to know the wine in his variety - combined with culinary, during the famous wine-hiking-tours or during wine-tastings.
